"This phone is the best cordless I have ever used. It is identical to and interchangeable with(and made by) Uniden's TRU models which transmit 100% 5.8GHz from both the handset and base. Other cordless phones sold as 5.8GHz don't tell you that they only transmit at 5.8GHz from the handset to the base.
