"MUSICIANS, these are not normal midi cables. Theyre actually 5 pin DIN cables. Midi only uses three of the leads but many vintage synths n drum machines peticularly the coveted Roland analog boxes use 5DIN to sync. THEESE WORK! "I WISH THAT THESE COLOR CABLES CAME IN LONGER LENGTHS (10, 15, 20 FEET). I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH MIDI CABLES AND I AM CAREFUL WITH MY EQUIPMENT and WIRES. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SEE THESE COLOR CABLES SOLD AS INDIVIDUAL CABLES BECAUSE I ONLY NEED ONE MORE COLOR CABLE TO FINISH MY HOOK UP. "
