"I have used this, or ones like it to build my own audio amps, and voltage regulators. These are great for expirementing with! They are very tolerant, but MUST be used with a fair sized heatsink. "

i tried using this ...

"i tried using this transistor for a low power flyback transformer driver, but it wasn't very high frequency and it fried on a pretty low power; it's not the best transistor but i suppose if you're using higher power, not just amplification then you should put more than one in parallel. "
