"Using about 80 ft away from each other and through 3 walls with no problems. I also live in an apartment and expected interference with all the other close apartments to me and it had none what so ever. However the receiver unit felt hot after 1 hr and I used a temp probe to check the temperature and it is above its max operating temp of 104F sitting on a cold shelf.
