Don't waste your money

"I used these for for a guitar effect pedal.

Inserting a jack into these is very rough and requires force. After 20 uses, the ring contact bent backwards and the jack stopped working. I replaced it with a Switchcraft jack purchased from a guitar store which works perfectly. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
