"This Capacitor provided me with consistent performance on my 555 timing circuit. Yes the capacitor is polarized and yes IT DOES SHOW WHICH SIDE IS POSITIVE. for those who are blind its the longer lead :P. (The lettering is quite small and can be hard for some people to see it but it is there.) "

"Most tantalum capacitors are polarized. This capacitor and it's packing has no indication of polarization. One lead being longer than the other may or may not be a hint in this instance. "Perhaps it is time for you all to get glasses.

It is marked;

1 as in 1 microfarad

35 as in 35 wvdc

and a "+" on the side of the long lead.

It is 20% tolerance, but most electrilytics are.

Using them in TLC555 timers and they work great. "

"If the capacitor is polarized why does it not state the anode and cathode on the back of the box? Maybe I should just guess and play games with electronic components. "
