Do not buy this unit !

"I bought this unit to protect my new Sony FM/CD radio. First the flimsy U bracket broke in half and I had to re-inforce it with a steel plate. After that, the front faceplate broke off, so I threw the cover away. I wouldn't mount it in my boat again even if someone gave it to me for free. "

"It's a good product to protect your stereo. I found that it did not have all the required wires and RCA jacks for my stereo so it had to be modified. Also the gasket is difficult to install. "

"This is the absolute worst electronic installation I have ever done. The box is too small for all the wires. I had to cut the 12 pin connector off and splice all the wires together.
