"I do quite a bit of research before buying any thing and have been looking to upgrade my bookshelf Advents after buying a home with a huge rec room. I have an older Kenwood reciever putting out 100W/channel and wanted to give it something to "kick out the Jams." "I had planned on using these as my mains in a smaller room, but once i got them unpacked and installed. I found out the tweeters were blown, so i called polk and was told by one of their leads that they may have been a repack from someone else that might have used them and blown the tweeters on them and then they were resold as new.
