Fantastic Sound and Great Price

"The Pioneer VSX 1019 has similar functions to the Pioneer Elite VSX 01txh but at a reduced cost!!!…Sound quality (deep and rich) remains outstanding!!!...for small to medium sized rooms. Use a quality speaker "of course" (Energy Take Classics are fantastic). However, to get the best sound from your system you need to READ the manual before making changes to the many sound and video options (note: it has ON-SCREE..." I compared it to the Harman Kardon AVR 354 and a 12-year old Sony, and the Pioneer didn't have the amplification power for bass at higher volume. "I did have to call Pioneer Tech Support twice in order to understand the poorly written owners manual. They need to re-write it, but other then that I was very happy with this purchase. "
