"Some helpful notes for prospective buyers: -Picture quality is excellent as advertised all over. Very black (even too black), very natural colors. Poor Image with Standard Definition TV

"I purchased this TV, Pioneer PDP-5020FD, and Im returning it due to poor picture quality. I know that sounds crazy, but read on. I have both the Panasonic TH-50PZ700U and the Pioneer Kuro PDP-5020FD. The Panasonic does a much much better job upconverting standard 480i cable TV compared to the Pioneer.
