"overall these are very nice and high quality speakers, but if you love bass, these might not be the best choice if you are putting these in a system without any subs.

"In our '96 Saturn SC2 the factory speakers just couldn't handle the bass that the factory stereo could put out! These things fixed the problem instantly, and I imagine could easily handle some amps to give them even more kick.
