"I used this to transfer video from an old Sony analog camcorder. The hardware worked perfectly, as did the software as far as the transfer goes. However, while I do think the software is quality with lots of options and tools it isn't very beginner-user friendly. "I have compared the Pinnacle to EyeTV for Mac, for converting an analog signal to digital for projection and screen/audio capture. The Mac works well but the software takes a long time to render.
