"This is priced cheap and it is cheap. I don't see it lasting. The hot shoe does not hold my 580EX II stable. You have to crank up the screw and a little movement loosens the crank. I bought one to try it out, now I know. I never used it! I did'nt say Photoflex is bad, just these type of umbrella swivels are. Photoflex makes other great products. "This product is almost good, except the screw hole that would hold an umbrella in place has plastic threads and gets stripped. This means you need to use a bungie to actually hold it in place. "
