The Photoflex Adjustable Umbrella Advantage.
Umbrellas generally provide a wide angle of light spread, particularly when used as bounce lighting. For the times when you want to minimize this spread, Photoflex adjustable models allow you to modify the light output by adjusting the shape of the umbrella from round to square to rectangular. These subtle adjustments will change your highlight and coverage and allow you to fine tune your image.

By using only the finest materials and a unique, triple-lamination process, Photoflex is able to limit the light leak through their adjustable umbrellas. Invest in the best and you will save money on your strobe, up to 50% in power, and time in the studio. Photoflex offers a variety of umbrella designs including "shoot-through", reflective, and our convertible design which can be used in either setup. Photoflex unique adjustable umbrellas (ADH and ADW) even allow you to change their shape to modify your light coverage.

The convertible umbrella is a great reflective umbrella, but it can also be used as a "shoot-through" by removing the black cover.
