"I had a previous experiance buying a refurbished vcr/dvd combo from Overstock, and this one was not as great. While the player does its job and you can view your media, there are a couple of annoying things about it. - The remote has very few features. "the player itself looks nice and works well. the remote is complex and doesn't always work. there is no menu button. there's a menu button for the remote itself, but not to go to the dvd menu. the remote alone will take me months to figure out. oh well. "
