"Coming from a musician, professional technician, and engineer these speakers are great for WHAT THEY ARE USED FOR! "The sound for watching movies from my computer using Netflix isn't very loud. I bought these in hopes of not having to strain to hear the dialogue. Uh, not so much. Only when I put the speakers next to my ears (at full volume) I could hardly hear the sound. If I wanted to have speakers next to my ear, I'd use my headphones/earbuds.
