"The recorder works fine. This is a plain "vanilla" dvd recorder. It has all the features that I need. More importantly they all work. The machine is easy to set up & navigate. Don't let the word refurbish scare you. It's like new. Bottom line, it does the job. Definitely a best value buy. "
