"Cannot dis-agree with any of the reviews on-line. Cannot get a better picture at this price. As the experts attest to, LCD's are great but do not compare to plasma. This "entry-level" plasma will out-perform many other higher end plasmas and one can venture to say all LCD displays at this 42" size level. "I now own 2 Panasonic Plasma T.V.s, both of which are broken. They are manufactured with defective power boards. This problem is widespread (check the net) and Panasonic REFUSES to acknowledge it. The defective power converter issue causes the TVs to shut off and not come back on, resulting in blinking power lights to tell you what component failed (7 led flashes is the most common) I bought the Panasonic extend..."
