When it first occurred, I contacted tech support and was told to pull out the handset batteries, push every single button on the handset, then reinstall the batteries. "I already have this phone and have had no problems w/it. It works great. I was adding another individual phone to my current based. Overstock.com shipped the phone, but w/o the battery in the phone which makes it worthless for use.
