"this DVD can record, however it's impossible to play back it's recorded DVDs on a different DVD player. I sold it on ebay and I bought the Toshiba DVR-4X DVD Recorder Combo for less $$ and better performance. "

"The unit locks up before it allows you to select play to view a DVD movie. This product will not immediately stop or turn-off when you press the buttons on the unit. The clock will not automatically set itself even after being programmed to so. I will be returning it. "
