"We create DVD's from camcorder and VHS tapes on the order of around 3000 per year and this line of Panasonic DVD recorders is the best on the market and has been for the last 5 years. The quality is the best hands down, and they have the ability to create a DVD with no menu (they just start playing the video when you put them in). "We've used Panasonic DVD recorders for the last 8 years for live recording of events, overall they've served their purpose. We currently own over 60 units of varying models. The EA-18 recorder does everything it needs to do, and does it acceptably well. One downer however is durability... the older model Panasonic recorders generally lasted 4+ years of hard use while these new units seem to fail in one year. ..." Read Full Review »
