great phone, but ...

"This is a very nice pair of phones. They are very easy to use. The one feature that is missing is some sort of indicator light for voice mail. The phone we got these to replace and our other phone both have lights on the base that blink when there's a new voice mail message. On this phone, all you see is that there was a missed call. "I bought this phone with the express purpose to provide an answering machine for contacting a family member who was not able to afford an answering machine at this time. I was very disappointed and frustrated that it did not live up to the discription on Amazon's site.
