"We have two uses: recording our theatre performances for archive and DVD purposes, and secondly, for transferring archive VHS tapes to digital files. For best reliability, stay with the 60-minute tapes. The longer ones are less reliable. "

"I've only used one of the tapes for a 10-minute home movie, but it worked normally and I havn't had any problems. I didn't buy these after comparing a bunch of MiniDV tapes; I bought them because they were so inexpensive. Hopefully the other 4 tapes work, too! "
