"I record ALL of my favorite television shows on a Panasonic DVR with internal hard drive, so that I may edit out the non-essential material (e.g. commercials). I can then burn a group of them, per series, onto DVD-R disks, for later viewing at MY convenience and/or permanent storage.

"I am so glad that our salesman suggested this DVD for our recorder. We were not able to find the ones that we had been using and I wasted a lot money buying DVDs that did not work.
