"This lens was purchased as part of the twin lens Panasonic DMC G1 kit just before Xmas 09. Since then I have taken some 2500 shots, mostly with the 45-200mm lens. I took it on a 'Nature Safari' to Southern Africa and it is a great travel kit. Having the equivalent of a 90-400mm in 35mm format, in a lens this size & weight is awesome. "I bought this lens because it is the only telephoto lens currently available for the micro43 system. My first impressions follow: Build Quality is what you'd expect from a kit lens. It is very "plastic-y" and doesn't really inspire the user with confidence. Perhaps more disconcerting is the fact that you can "feel" the components inside the lens move around.
