"This lens is excellent. The four thirds system really needed this baby. One of the best low light lenses, and it has Leica optical quality that is stunning. Great contrast and fantastic bokeh! Very sharp even at f1.4. Image quality is amazing on the E-3. If you like making use of available light, instead of ever using a flash, this one will work out perfectly. I do wish it was weather/dust sealed like the ..." Read Full Review »

"After several failed attempts to have Panasonic even acknowledge there was a problem with my lens, I ended up selling it. I did several tests on an Olympus E500, E520 and an E3 all with the same problem. They would not even test this lens on an Olympus camera. I was told it's for a Panasonic camera and that was that! Nice! Thanks!..." Read Full Review »

"I have used this for about 3 weeks and 1000 pictures now (pre-school shoot!). I use it with adapter DMW-WA1 on a G1, one of the few 4/3 lenses that do autofocus on micro 4/3 bodies. The main alternative I considered was the diminutive Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 but I chose to go for the large one... The o …" Read Full Review »

"This lens is the nearest I cold get to the fast Rokkor 85's I loved so much in my film days and the 85 1.5 I used on my Canon VT pre-SLR. So the focal length is a bit short, but the speed is there. And the quality of images is way beyond what even those old lenses, which were no mean slouches, could …" Read Full Review »

"Amazing lens. I've had it for 6 month or so and I've sold all my manual legacy glass already. This is one of the best lenses I've seen, if not the best. Very sharp. If this lens was a little longer, like 70-80mm, my Oly 50/2 would be for sale. :) [...]. The only constrain in using this lens more oft …" Read Full Review »

"This one is worth every penny particularly in these digital days of few fast lenses. I'm using it in Olympus E systems and have the adapter to use it on m4/3 EP-1 as well. When the going gets DARK this one is my savior - tack sharp, great contrasty pop. It works especially well with the Oly JPEG col …" Read Full Review »
