"I received the Pana-Vue #1, made sure the batteries were inserted correctly, then put in a slide. Nothing. Put the batteries in another device to make sure the batteries were okay. Put the bulb in a flashlight to make sure the bulb was okay. Everything checked out, but I could not get this thing to work. "The hundreds of old slides I needed to sort through was easy and fast with this viewer. The screen is a little small but shows great detail. To view the slide is simple with little effort.
I would recommend the a/c adapter be purchased with the viewer. This saves on batteries with extended use.

"This is an old fashioned battery operated slide viewer that does what it is advertised to do. I have a large collection of slides that I am sorting and copying to digital. I bought this to make the sorting and viewig easier. It works as described and is a handy tool. "
