Does the job

"I have been running this slide scanner continuously since I got it shortly after Christmas (it is now mid-February). It has actually made it possible to scan a large heritage collection of slides for a local non-profit under an April deadline and with a considerable cost savings. There has been about a dozen jams during that time, out of thousands of slides processed. At first many of the slides did not fully..." Read Full Review »

Just ok for the $$

"After much research regarding slide scanners, the overall opinion seemed to say this scanner was it. They never said it was the best as it seems everyone still pines for the Nikon slide scanner, but they said it does a good job and it does it relatively quickly. In those 2 areas I can agree. Where this scanner does not meet expectations in comparison to price are the unit itself, the software and the setup. The ..." Read Full Review »

"I have only had the scanner for a couple of days, but so far it has worked as advertised. While I bought the Braun 100S circular magazine, so far I have only used the small tray that comes with the scanner. I'm scanning 35 year old slides, both plastic and cardboard encased, and so far, no jams. …"  Read Full Review »

"Like others, I was not looking forward to scanning the 6000 slides that my parents had taken through the years, and the additional 1000 of my own. My Nikon scanner took over a minute for each slide, and I did not want to give up my life to doing this!

The best part of the PowerSlide 3650 is that …"  Read Full Review »

"The PowerSlide 3650 scanner does a fine job, especially since I have about 10,000 slides to do. I wouldn't live long enough doing 4-6 at a time. I set it up and let it do it's thing. They should include, or at least oficially recommend the Braun 100s Slide Magazine instead of the 50 slide version …"  Read Full Review »

Lifesaver for 20 slides, good tech support

"The PowerSlide 3650 is wonderful, especially with a large number of slides. Buy the optional round magazine and you can start a batch of 100, then come back half a day later. I've had only a few jams in a thousand slides, and they were on aged cardboard mounts that were obviously bent. The round Bra …"  Read Full Review »
