The Otter Box Defender Case for iPod touch (Black) is designed to protect the 8.0 or 16GB digital media player against dirt, dust, drops, bumps, and scratches. It encases the player with an interlocking, high-impact shell, partially covered by a silicone body suit. A sheet of clear polycarbonate covers the touchscreen, providing chemical and abrasion protection, while allowing full functionality of the screen. The headphone jack, dock connector, and hold button are accessible via silicone plugs. While not waterproof, the slim, sleek Defender will protect against light rain and precipitation.
