"I used this to put a small LCD HDTV and DirecTV HD receiver in a pass-through window between our kitchen and sunroom. The 180-degree swivel of the main arm and full 360 rotation of the platform let the TV be seen from anywhere in either room. "I purchased a different model from another manufacturer, which provided a top piece to hold the tv in place. Yours does not provide for that. Your instrctions need a great improvement as they do not show step by step what you need to do. There is no diagram as to how to install the strap either and I'm not quite sure I put it on properly. "I use in my kid's bedroom. they enjoyed it. There is nothing to hold the vcr in staple condition. The vcr fall down after I fix that on the place where it belongs. There was no grip to hold the vcr tight without falling.
