"The only system in which this component would be useful is one with no legacy video inputs. I had to run two separate video cables to my TV and let it do all the video upconversion. Signals processed by the Onkyo were unwatchable. On a much lesser note the absence of a record out function makes this much less useful to me than any audio video receiver I have ever owned.
