"Wasn't sure this product would help my overheating situation but did it ever... and then some! Board I have (Socket 754) allows cpu overclock between 200MHz (default) to 300MHz). Without the 'Vendetta', could only reach 202MHz, board would shut down at 203MHz... with the Vendetta? "I bought this to use on my AMD 6000 3.1. be warned the mounting for a AMD is very weak,I believe this Heatsink was designed for a Intel as Intel mounting is much more solid.The base didn't even cover my whole CPU and I had to point it up or down,due to AMD type mount you cannot point it towards the back blowing towards the rear outtake fan.
