With a comfortable padded left-handed grip and a 9.8 baseplate that accomodates many camera types the Flash Grip bracket is a great base for any of Novoflex's new flash systems. Both the track for the camera and the flash grip can be adjusted left-to-right for an ideal setup. On top of the grip is a detachable ballhead with a flash shoe that's sturdy enough to hold all shoe-mount flashes in any position. One can accessorize by adding a flexible arm so that the flash can be positioned in a variety of places (including directly over the lens center). "Beautifully machined, but the base plate that attaches to the camera needs a more substantial anti-twist capability, the little rubber disk just doesn't do the job. Also, it's easy to strip the threads on the screw that attaches the grip handle to the base plate. No need to ask how I know. "
