"Santa brought this for my son. I agree it took a long time to set up and without coffee my husband may not have survived the frustration! The first few times on the track, the cars did have a hard time staying on. But - I remember that happening on the slot cars I had as a kid. They take a few times around to "wear in" the track. "My son got this for his bday. We put it together (took a long time and I put LOTS of things together that are difficult), and it barely works. I'd say the IF the car goes, which is about 5% of the time, it stops dead after a few seconds. One track doesn't work with one of the cars, which is odd. "I echo everything that Mom of 2 said. My boys had some birthday money saved up so we bought this. The best thing I can say about it is that it comes with a lot of track. But believe me, instead of your kids being happy and excited, they will be disappointed and frustrated.
