"I am currently scanning in my grandfathers (50's) family slides, my fathers mission slides and negatives (60's-90's) and my collection of personal negatives (college photography). I'm more than pleased with the output. My first attempt was on a late 1950's 35mm slide that had significant fading, discoloration and scratches. I was astonished to see how well the Coolscan removed the scratches, restored the colo..." Read Full Review »

How well the software will work and scan speed will probably depend greatly on the specifics of your computer configuration. It did not work reliably or fast on my Mac G4 running OS 10.3.9 with USB 1.1 connections. Probably would run much better with USB 2 connections. I was able to solve th..." Read Full Review »
