"Bought this to replace the factory BM-7 which broke while I was trying out camera bags for my nikon d80 plus battery grip. I knocked the back of the camera into my elbow while pulling the camera out and the screen protector cracked. The BM-7 does protect the screen but after having the camera six months and carrying/using daily is not only cracked half way down from top but shows scratces. But that is what it..." "Protection of the LCD--a key component of the camera--is extremely important. Value of the camera plummets if your LCD is severely scratched.
This product prevents almost any scratch from occurring, as long as the protector stays on. To use, simply snap the LCD protector over the display.
