"I have been extremely impressed with this lens! The only one that I would deem better would be the 18-200mm, but what a price tag. It is amazing what a difference the VR makes on this lens. My only complaint is the reinforced plastic material that it is made of makes it feel a little fragile, but so far seems to be very durable. Good and Bad

"This lens produced probably the single sharpest image I've ever seen come out of my camera. At 100% crop, it was still almost perfectly crisp. I couldn't believe it. There was distortion at the edges, but stopping the lens down a little probably would've helped that. I used flash to take the picture.
