"With an 11x range this can be the only lens you'll ever need. It's very sharp at f8-f11 while somewhat soft wide open and fully stopped down. If you leave the lens hanging down, it will creap out from the 18mm position out to 200mm. But don't let this deter you! These are only minor and are probably the only glitches this lens has. "This lens cannot be used if you are looking down or up. The lens creeps by itself. The only way to photograph a flower is to hold the lens with your left hand or use a piece of tape to hold lens in position. Same thing if you are looking up to grab a shot of a bird in flight.
