The SM-250A is an active, full-range, 2-way studio monitor speaker with 6.5" shielded woofer, 1" Ferro fluid-cooled, soft-dome shielded tweeter and built-in 100W bi-amped power. This model is bass-reflex loaded with 2" tuned cylindrical port for optimized linear bass response. The monitor highlights clear, transparent sound and full linear frequency response for perfectly balanced mixes that translate accurately to other systems. The cabinets feature a curved front baffle for reduced high frequency diffraction and excellent imaging, not possible with conventional square-edged baffles. The heavy-duty cabinet construction offers increased structural integrity and stiffness for clean, articulate performance even at high SPL levels. Gold-plated binding posts for easy hookup to banana plugs, spade connectors or bare wires (SM-120) provide added convenience and practicality.
