"I ordered this product for my IPOD Nano thinking that I will use it right away. This doesn't fit the Nano and there is no mention of it in the description. It only says the product will not work with ipod mini, which is a different product. [...] Very disappointing. "

this is made for an older ipod

"this is made for the older ipods that had the remote jack on top, the 4g or earlier models. It does work with the ipod mini, wifey used it in a class once. Today, you're better off buying a voice recorder. "
