"I am an employee with Comcast Cable and I'd like you all to know that this is one of the modems most recommended by Comcast. Comcast uses this model as one of their rental modems as well. The Motorola SB5100 series modems are among the best you can get for the Comcast service. Never worked right

"This unit received just 2 Mb/s even though I'm paying for 10 Mb/s. I called my ISP several times during those two days, and also contacted Motorola several times as well (phone and online). Motorola was the most disappointing. I finally got tired of the whole process and had my ISP sell me their RCA modem.
