Simply the best way to hear your motorcycle's radar detector without the need for earphones or helmet wiring.  Works great even while wearing your earplugs!

The Radar Screamer enhances the audio warning signal produced by radar detectors so that the motorcycle rider is better able to hear the warning while at speed.  No earphones or helmet wiring is required.  All Radar Screamer components are water proof and remain on the bike allowing the rider maximum freedom.  To enhance reliability the Radar Screamer is powered from the bike's electrical system and does not depend on replaceable batteries.

Details

Audio signals from your radar detector’s audio jack trigger the Radar Screamer’s interface module.  This module signals a 108 dB piezo beeper which allows the driver to hear the warning.  Includes handle bar mounted 3-position low volume/mute/high volume control switch.  Easy installation with complete instructions.  Beeper measures 2-1/4 inch diameter by 1-1/4 inches high.

  • Model RS1-V has 2.5mm audio plug for Valentine detectors and Beltroinics 946.  Valentine detectors must be equipped with Valentine remote audio panel.
  • Model RS1-P has 3.5mm audio plug to fit the Escort Passport 8500, 8500-X50, Solo 2 and Beltronics RX65, RX55, Vector 995.
  • Model RS2-S has 3.5mm audio plug to fit the Beltronics STi Driver only.

Tests

Radar Roy's Tests

The Radar Screamer issues a loud audible alert that is easily heard, even if you are wearing earplugs, or your favorite tune on your MP3.

A supplied push button that attaches to your handlebars will mute the alert.

As Radar Roy is a motorcycle enthusiast himself, he knows the importance of keeping your eyes on the road ahead.

Unit mounts easily and works well, except for the high spe …"  Read Full Review »

"The radar screamer is loud enough and works very well on my Gold Wing even while wearing a helmet and playing music. However, the wiring and resistors in the wiring are difficult to place when using the ram mounts. I used some zip ties and made it work. "
