The Monster Cable Home Theater AVL300S is a reference multi-room controller (what we used to call a remote control) that works through walls, ceilings, and floors, thanks to its built-in RF wireless technology. You get whole-house control, even for multi-zone systems. The AVL300 is also a powerful lighting controller. Using Monster's IlluminEssence lighting modules (not included) and Z-Wave technology, the AVL300 can create customized lighting "scenes" throughout your home to accompany chosen activities, such as "Romantic Dinner," with dimmed lights and soft music!

Replace all your existing audio/video and lighting remote controls with the easy-to-use Monster AVL300 controller. Use only a single remote, plus add more functionality with special feature buttons. A unique ergonomic design provides larger tactile buttons with an intuitive layout. In the dark, the illuminated backlit buttons are easy to read. Unlike other remotes, the AVL300's component and lifestyle Activity Buttons send multiple commands to multiple devices automatically, allowing true one-touch control. This controller remembers, so you don't have to. Intelligent Monster Tracking Memory remembers what each component is doing, so when you switch activities, your equipment responds accurately.

With the AVL300, you get special function buttons no other single remote has. The Lighting Control button give you one-touch instant access to Monster Central Home Lighting System functions. The Sys A/B button allows you to control multiple systems for multiple rooms. Quickly scroll through satellite and digital cable program guides with Page Up and Page Down buttons. Access directly important picture controls like aspect ratio and P-I-P with the Picture button. And with the Surround Mode button, you can select from among different surround sound modes while you listen.

Monster Controlnet Technology allows you the freedom to move around the house and never aim your remote again. The included Monster Omnilink, an RF-to-IR bridge and IR blaster system, extends the controller's operating range up to 130 feet through walls, ceilings, and floors; while the supplied Control Link Extender Set expands your control with TV and dual-component IR emitters.
