The OC-45 uses a 1-inch Pure Titanium Tweeter and 4.5-inch Ribbed Elliptical Surround woofer to create room-filling, enveloping sound that is impossible to achieve with conventional in-ceiling speakers—which means that fewer speakers are needed in most distributed audio installations. With its 360-degree sound dispersion, it`s the ideal speaker for complete multi-channel dedicated home theater systems. Their uniform sound dispersion allows perfect blending when combined with a subwoofer placed on the floor. This creates a great solution for dedicated home theaters—something that is almost impossible to achieve with a conventional in-ceiling design. All of the new Omnican models are also voiced to match the Mirage brand`s Nanosat® Prestige, Omnisat® v2 and OMD speakers.

The OC-45 has a paintable low-profile grille and bezel to further ensure unobtrusive installation. Included back boxes ensure uniform tonal balance independent from the mounting position. The back boxes are removable for space restricted installations.
