"The Xbox 360, in my opinion, by far stands above all the rest. I own all three systems. Nintendo Wii (Doesn't get much use but I love it all the same), Playstation 3 (Biggest waste of money I've ever encountered... and I've encountered Oxy Clean...), and of course the 360. "We've had all the Playstations including the PS3. It's simple, works great, and is chock full of technology that will ensure it's a purchase that can be expected to last at least 7 years or longer like it's predecessor. The 360 we just got so my son could play Halo 3 only to discover it costs another $100 to hook up to our wi-fi internet. Most games are available on both consoles so that's not a rational reason ..." "Why is the Elite more expensive? It includes a larger hard drive (120GB vs 20GB), an HDMI port (now included on newer Standard versions), and support for 1080p resolution. Gameplay is exactly the same. I know; I own two HDTVs and both versions of the XBox 360.

Found a discount code online that reduced it down to $330. That alone makes this a 5 star review! HDMI like the rest of my components; larger HDD for NetFlix and caching of games; black to match my other components; sold my old 360 (non-HDMI) for $200. Couldn't be happier.
