"This unit required some Registry adjustments in order for Windows XP and LightScribe to consistently recognize the drive. The correct actions were provided in the LightScribe FAQs. A very minor note: For some reason Memorex has supplied a front power-on light that amounts to a bright blue headlight shining in my workspace. "This product is great. It reads and writes many great cds/dvds. It has one downfall thought. The only way it connects to you computer is it you turn the drive on before you turn your computer on. You cant just connect the cd drive when the computer is already on. This may be my computer I dont know. "
