"so far, so good. haven't used my stands that much yet, but these were a great deal in terms of the quality for the price. no reason why these won't last me years and years for a wide variety of projects. "

"Very useful for any light weighing less than ten pounds.
More than ten pounds and things get scary.
All in all a great replacement for other compact kit stands (such as Lowell stands).
