"I like to take a monpod when I travel. It's easy to store in a suitcase and doesn't add much weight to my gear. But the foot on most monopods have a really surface that touches the ground. "Makes a larger footprint for the monopod when outside. I haven't tried it in the snow yet but works great in the mud and dirt. It was hard to get the original cap off the monopod. I heated some water in the microwave and soaked the foot and the old cap slid off nicely. "

Design allows angulation of monopod.



Manfrotto should have these already on their monopods rather than make one pay more. "
