"I love this clamp, it is a well made piece and well thought out - and STRONG.
I don't recommend using it for this but I recently mounted a large dSLR and zoom lens on a pistol grip ball-head secured ONLY by the Bogen 175F clamp, and it HELD.
Since buying this, I've bought $3 clamps at the home
