"I use this with a 055XPROB and 486RC2 head and am happy with my choice. The padded version is too pricey and this still has some protection. The only thing is that the large, angled, plate kind of makes it top heavy. The end that takes the head seems a little large for the 486RC2 but I suppose there …"  Read Full Review »

"Great padding, adequate fit for 458B NeoTec with 322RC2 Head, easy to handle. However, it has that "expensive" look and clearly stands out of the other luggage, so think twice before taking it to a trip to a poor country. "

"I was looking for a bag to transport my tripod when I travel, either by plane, or other modes of travel (motorcycle) and I find that the Manfrotto bag filled my needs just fine. I went with the unpadded model because of reduced bulk over the entire length, but the padding at the top still protects …"  Read Full Review »

"This is a nice tripod case, but I certainly wouldn't check it as luggage or anything like that. One thing is that you have to tilt the head to the bottom end angles to get it to fit into the case. "I bought this bag for a smaller tripod I put together for my Canon XH-A1. Perfect fit--dimensions stated are true and accurate. I love the "quiver style" zipper and the slightly larger head part of the bag easily accommodates the larger head on my tripod. All in all, this bag is hard to beat for …"  Read Full Review »
